ADVERTORIAL
Do you ever feel exhausted before starting the day?
Sarah does.
Mother of four.
Partner.
Professional. Friend, and. This is Sarah's story... but now she's here to tell it in her own words.
And yet, every morning felt like an insurmountable mountain.
I hadn't even gotten out of bed, and I was already tired.
As if the day was passing me by
—and I was just trying to keep up...
Sound familiar?
You set your alarm early...
but you snooze it three times. You make coffee...
but you still feel groggy until noon.
You want to feel energized...
but mornings drain you before you even begin.
You plan to eat better, move more, breathe more deeply...
...but life gets in the way.
"I thought this was just 'being a mom.'
That feeling of exhaustion, numbness, and
disconnection was normal."
– Sarah,
Until one morning… something broke.
My youngest spilled juice on the floor.
My oldest forgot his homework.
My baby cried. The dog vomited.
And I just…stood there. Frozen.
“That was the moment. I didn't scream.
I didn't run...
I didn't move...
I felt like my life was nothing, that it had no meaning,
that I had gained weight, that I was stressed, and every day was agony...
my relationship had ended because I couldn't stand my excess weight and my self-esteem was low...
I was overwhelmed and depressed.
Have you ever felt like this?
I simply had to change...
That night, with tears in my eyes, I made a decision.
Not to "fix" everything. Not to "put everything in order."
But to reclaim my mornings, my days, and my nights...
one small step at a time.
And what happened?
“Everything changed...!
” By the window of my living room,
sitting on my reclining sofa with a cup that gave off a rich aroma of coffee that enveloped me and caressed my lips with every sip...
contemplating the sunrise... I decided...!
...take the helm of my life and guide it to a safe haven
Not overnight.
But with each day, I felt more like myself.
I started waking up 15 minutes earlier.
I added a glass of water with lemon before my coffee.
I wrote down 3 things I was grateful for.
I moved my body, just for 5 minutes.
I stopped surfing the web first thing in the morning.
What did I notice?
More energy...!
A calmer mind...
More patience with my kids (and myself) ...
“Fewer breakdowns”.
More joy—yes, real joy—in the mornings.
And no, I didn't become "that perfect morning person."
I became myself, but better.
